COINiD → Nunchuk

Nunchuk is an open-source wallet for mobile and desktop with first-class multisig support — a good choice if you want to upgrade from a single seed to a multi-key setup over time.

Only install Nunchuk from nunchuk.io or the official store listings linked there. Never enter your recovery phrase anywhere else.

First, get your 12-word recovery phrase from COINiD Vault — see the steps on the main page (Vault → Settings → Backup).

Restore your COINiD phrase

  1. In Nunchuk, choose Add key → Software key → Recover with seed phrase and enter your 12 words.
  2. Create a new single-sig wallet using that key, and set the address type to match your COINiD wallet:

  3. Let the wallet sync — it can take several minutes before your balance and full transaction history appear.

Still zero balance after syncing for a while? Create another wallet from the same key with a different address type from the table.

After migrating

Your paper backup still controls these funds — keep it safe. Recommended: create a fresh key in Nunchuk (new seed) and send your funds to a wallet made from it. Your COINiD phrase has spent years stored on a phone — retiring it costs one transaction fee.
