First, get your 12-word recovery phrase from COINiD Vault — see the steps on the main page (Vault → Settings → Backup).
Import your COINiD phrase
- In BlueWallet, tap Add Wallet → Import wallet.
- Type your 12 words separated by spaces and tap Import.
- BlueWallet scans the standard derivation paths and detects your wallet type. Confirm the import.
- Give it time to sync — the wallet rescans the blockchain for your addresses, so it can take several minutes before your balance and full transaction history appear.
Balance showing zero? Enable Settings → General → Advanced Mode, import again, and use the search/derivation options to pick the right path. COINiD's default was m/49'/0'/0' (addresses starting with 3) — see the path table.
After migrating
- Verify your balance and transaction history.
- Your paper backup still controls these funds — keep it safe.
- Recommended: create a brand-new wallet in BlueWallet (Add Wallet → Bitcoin, back up its new seed on paper) and send your funds to it. Your COINiD phrase has spent years stored on a phone — retiring it costs one transaction fee.
- Once your funds are settled, you can remove the COINiD apps.
